This week I made a comment about getting un-plugged, followed by the "proverbial" [inside joke kids ;)] follow-up of how NOT so unplugged I live. A friend last night said he gets phantom rings from his phone... me too... although at our age I'm not sure it isn't just gas. This week Krohnus.tv posted on Innovation (I was going to link to his blog but IE gets an error... innovation fail...) and the disparity between what we think of as innovative and what really is innovative. Then today Scott Williamsthrows the video below up on his blog about social media. Finally 100% of my shopping for Christmas this year has been done on-line. ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT! You can go to Amazon and see what I got you... if you can figure out which of the hundreds of thousands of things available with free second day shipping I have to choose from. The world is moving at the speed of the internet. In spite of all of this efficiency we still seem to be out of time to sit and drink a cup of coffee with a friend. Even at times feeling like we are inconveniencing them to ask them to get off of the treadmill for a few minutes for some face time. My friend has studied and understands the social media wave much better than I. He has the opportunity to fly at a higher altitude with more freedom and thus sees into the cy-ber world horizon. That's where we're going. Church... don't stick you head in the sand. Grab a board and ride the wave. Maximize every pixel and character for spreading the good news of Jesus. You live in un-precedented times... steward well. DON'T BLINK!
